New Exhibit Announced at Jordan House
The West Des Moines Historical Society is proud to announce the opening of a new exhibit at the Jordan House Museum.
"West Des Moines at War" examines the contributions of Iowans on the battlefield as well as at home, through artifacts from the Spanish American War, Civil War, World Wars I and II, Korea, Vietnam and more recent conflicts.
This exhibit opens Saturday, June 22 and will be offered as part of the weekly guided tours of the Jordan House Museum.
Tours are Friday, Saturday and Sunday during the summer, at 11am and 1pm.
Doors will open 15 minutes before the tour begins at the top of the hour. Space at these weekly tours is limited, so we urge our visitors to arrive at the Jordan House when the doors open.
