The West Des Moines Historical Society is committed to providing education to school visitors, especially in this time of shrinking budgets. We now offer two programs at no charge which will allow students to “walk in the footsteps of history” virtually!

Live Virtual School Tours

Any public school in Iowa or surrounding state canĀ  schedule a free live virtual tour of the Jordan House or Bennett School Museum in the 2021/2022 school year. Tours can be up to an hour, your tour guide can emphasize lessons based on curriculum requirements, and best of all, we encourage questions during the programs! This is a perfect way to fulfil those social studies requirements at no cost to your school. To schedule your virtual tour, please call 515.225.1286 or email info@wdmhs.org.
