Have the events of 2020 forced you to postpone or downsize your wedding?
Are you looking for a historical and intimate location to start your new lives?
Consider holding your ceremony at the Jordan House Museum or Bennett School Museum, both conveniently located and unique!
The Jordan House Museum (2001 Fuller Road, West Des Moines) is a circa 1850 Victorian home, full of period furnishings and details that enhance any event. The Bennett School Museum (4001 Fuller Road, West Des Moines) is a 1920s one-room schoolhouse, with school desks and chalkboard for your special artwork or messages, as well as a full kitchen in the basement.
Both museums are perfect for micro-weddings, small gatherings and intimate ceremonies. Two hour reservations are affordable and available most days and evenings.
