Hello! My name is Ria Tomar, and I’m going to be a junior at Valley High School this fall! While researching topics for this history blog, my aim is to uncover what can essentially be considered “unexcavated” history. Many of us are familiar with most of the well-known events of the past, but I really enjoy the aspect of resurfacing other history in these blog posts; history that surprises readers and allows them to read on a topic they previously had limited or no knowledge of. Outside of blogging, I enjoy debate, playing tennis, cooking, and watching game shows.
