Plan your summer staycation Sunday, May 19 at the Iowa Files program,
“Exploring Iowa and Its Historic Gems.” This program, presented by the West Des Moines Historical Society and West Des Moines Public Library, will begin at 2:30pm at the West Des Moines Public Library (4000 Mills Civic Parkway).
The presenter, Dan Kaercher,is the retired founding editor-in-chief of Midwest Living Magazine and host of “Iowa’s Simple Pleasures” and other travel-related programs aired on Iowa Public Television and other public television stations nationally. From historic sites, parks, natural wonders, quaint small towns, big-city attractions, museums and eateries galore: you’ll be amazed to learn what surprises await right in your own backyard: Iowa.
