Thanks to the generosity of the City of West Des Moines, the West Des Moines Historical Society has the opportunity to double new donations designated for maintenance and repair of our two landmark properties, the Jordan House and Bennett School.
From now until June 30, 2017, all donations from new donors may be used to obtain matching funds, up to $25,000! Think what we could do with those funds…our wish list includes a new fence around the Jordan House, repairs on Bennett School windows,
We are so excited that the West Des Moines Historical Society will be part of Give Local Des Moines on May 3. This is a 24-hour online giving event, and every dollar you donate gets us one more step on our mission of education and preservation!
